I even have a knitting Blog, many projects on the go at once, a growing yarn stash, and am a keen member of our local Stitch'n Bitch knitting group. |
10 : Summer Collection 1 This is my first finished painting in a while - I hadn't picked up a brush since moving house and the death of my brother at the end of 2007. It was a bit hard to get back into the swing of things. I made this painting long and thin to fit onto a CafePress mug, but it looks nice on other stuff as well! The collection is of summery colours and summery fibres. From left to right we have : Hand-spun, hand-dyed wool by the talented HappySpider; Cleckheaton bamboo; two balls of Mission Falls 1824 Cotton; a skein of Dream in Color Smooshy Sock Yarn; a small ball of my daughter's hand-spun silk; Lincraft Bamboozle; and three balls of Heirloom Baby Yarn.
